FULL REMODEL

Project Parameters: Transform a 3,256 sq. ft. home in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ from an old world, Tuscan design to a modern day design. The clients' are a newly engaged couple and love to host house parties and enjoy a night out in the greater Phoenix area. Adding a bold bar that opens to their outdoor oasis and including her "dream" closet are the main reasons for remodeling. Throughout the design, the use of his high contrast color palette is married to her preferred farmhouse flair.

Designer Role: As the Junior Designer, I site measured the existing home to understand the bones of the house and worked closely with the architect to see how we could space plan the remodeled footprint of the house. All AutoCAD construction drawings, SketchUp 3-D modeling, and specification sheets were completed by myself. I assisted in selecting materials for the remodel and took the clients to appliance and plumbing showrooms. Finally, I overviewed the home's construction site to verify the remodel was following our designs. The home's remodel was completed during my time at Alisha Taylor Interiors.
