FURNITURE & INSTALL

Project Parameters: Give a 6,399 sq. ft. home character in Paradise Valley, AZ by selecting, procuring, and installing furniture. The client loves to add spunky ideas to her lifestyle with pops of color, but also has sophisticated taste when it comes to sipping her bubbly or shopping luxury brands. The client's furniture design is inspired from her favorite, stylish resorts ranging from the Beaumont Hotel in London to the Four Seasons Resort in Lanai.

Designer Role: Being the Junior Designer, I was responsible for selecting wallpaper, rugs, furniture fabrics and finishes for the client. I gained great vendor relationships by visiting local furniture showrooms to receive samples and working closely with seamstresses an custom furniture craftsmen. To discover new trends in furniture and applications of fabrics, I attended High Point Market in North Carolina in 2022 with my design team. I site measured the existing home and took "before images" to ensure the selected furniture would fit the home's scale and style. I completed the AutoCAD construction drawings, SketchUp 3-D modeling, furniture proposals and specification sheets for the project. The home's furniture install was completed during my time at Alisha Taylor Interiors.
